Tuesday Afternooon Mosaic classes, the best way to spend your Tuesday! Our Mosaic classes are the perfect way to learn the basics of mosaic art; tile cutting and placement, grouting and clean up. We will guide you through the process and help you create a unique work of art. Unleash your inner artist and come and learn this wonderful process with us. Choose from a huge variety of tiles and colours. Semi precious stones can even be included (at a small additional cost). Your mosaic will be perfect to hang on a wall, add to a table top or display outside. Explore the creative world of mosaics with Lake House Studio!
Policy / Term / Conditions
This class needs a minumim number of 5 participants to run. Please note this at the time of booking. If the class does not recieve 5 bookings your deposit will be refunded in full. Classes are for young people aged 9 and up only. Courses run for a set number of weeks and a whole course must be booked, participants cannot book into a partial course. If a class within the course is missed by a participant, it is forfeited, no refund will be offered for this missed class. Participants may be photographed during the classes, these images can be used for Lake House Clay and Art Studio social media posts, or future web page promitional pictures. Images will never be shared with any other parties, other than as described here. Withdrawal of the course may occur with 14 days’ or more notice, prior to the start date of the course with a full refund. If a participant is withdrawn after this period of time (13 – 2 days prior to the class starting), their deposit is non-refundable. If a participant is withdrawn within two days of the course starting, or after the class starts, full payment is still applicable. Participants must always act in a respectful and courteous manner. Lake House studio has a zero tolerance policy on verbal or physical misconduct towards other students or the facilitator. Participants must treat the space and materials with respect, no throwing of materials or wasteful behaviours are accepted. Participants who are not able to comply with this policy will have one warning and parents will be notified. After this if any negative behaviours continue, the student will be withdrawn from the program with no refund of course fees. All care is taken to ensure created pieces are completed without breakage, however, as is the nature of ceramics and the firing process, breakages (explosions in the kiln etc) do occur from time to time. This is a sad and rare occasion, and Lake House Clay and Art Studio takes no responsibility if this does occur. Participants are required not to touch the work of others, this help in avioding breakages. Creativity, fun and laughter is highly encouraged.
